The Perfect religon must be based on LOVE, we can't have a perfect religion with imperfect people, Jesus taught us about LOVE and if we learn how to show love to each otherthen it is about the best we'll get to a prefect religion. We can learn how to show love by thinking about how Jesus did things. The more love we have with each other then the less rules we'll need, the fact that living as a JW is filled with rules, regulations and procedures prove how little love they have.

yesterday, i installed the 2001 watchtower library software on my pc.
suddenly i was not able to view any and all "apostate" sites i had just been to seconds earlier before installing the software, including this forum.
having a gut feeling, i uninstalled the wt library software, and presto!

if a doctor told a patient to abstain from alcohol then that patient should avoid unhealthy alcohol consumption whether by mouth or any other means.
The Bible also speaks about "abstaining from foods", does this mean that the writter was telling the reader that they should never eat again? Of course the reader is expected to use "discernment" and try to understand what the writter was saying.
To "eat" something means to pass threw the digestive system. For example, if a man had a liver transplanted into him to sustain his life, would we say that he "ate" the liver? No we wouldn't because the liver didn't pass threw his digetive system.

i was having a root canal at the dentist yesterday (ouch!!!

i couldn't believe it........."think about paradise" actually came into my thoughts.
I don't see why you should want to erase all your past. The paradise is something real that Jjesus spoke about, we know the WTS teachs Lies but not everything they say are lies. The things that do come from the bible are still true. Some leave the WTS and stop beleiveing in God all together, i can't see why we should.

I particularly am concerned that the NEW books no not cover Blood transfusions at all. Lets consider the scenario, someone is taught about the kingdom and this earth passing away, based mainly on this they get batized and change their lives styles, they loose their old freinds and make freinds only with the JW's, then a blood Transfusion may be needed for some reason, then they are told that if they do take one then they'll get DAed and on one will talk to them. sounds like a sneeky trap.
